No Foreign Armed Police Officers on British Streets During the 2012 Olympics

To: The London Mayor and Metropolitan Police Service Commissioner Sir Ian Blair

We the undersigned realise that there may be the need for police officers from other countries to work closely with the Metropolitan Police Service, however, they should not be armed and on the streets of London during the 2012 Olympics. We therefore believe that this (armed) role must only be conducted by the Metropolitan Police Services working in conjunction with British intelligence services.
